The RVS Power Systems Multi 12-3000-100 is a complete 12V Victron electrical system, pre-assembled and pre-tested on a single board by our Christchurch workshop. It replaces days of on-site wiring with one unit that drops into your build, backed by a Certificate of Compliance issued to New Zealand's current electrical standards.

Every board is built by a registered electrician to AS/NZS 3001.2:2022 and AS/NZS 3000:2018, the standards now cited in New Zealand's Electricity (Safety) Regulations. That means correctly rated RCBOs on both the incoming and inverter-output circuits, tested earth continuity and insulation resistance, and full certification paperwork supplied with the board.

Important: certification of the board is not certification of your vehicle. We CoC the electrical work carried out on the board itself. Your installing electrician must still inspect, test, and certify the complete installation once the board is fitted, including the connections to your battery, solar panels, and vehicle wiring, before and after the board goes in. A registered electrician is required for this work at every stage, from planning the installation through to final sign-off, for the finished system to be compliant.

• Victron MultiPlus-II 12/3000/120 Inverter/Charger — 3000VA pure sine wave output, a 120A mains charger, and an automatic transfer switch so shore power and inverter can never be connected at once.
• Victron SmartSolar MPPT 100/50 — 50A of solar charging with Bluetooth monitoring through the VictronConnect app.
• Victron Orion XS 12/12-50 DC-DC Charger — 50A of adaptive charging from your vehicle's alternator, with a recovery mode for flat batteries.
• Victron SmartShunt 500A Battery Monitor — precise state-of-charge, voltage, and current tracking, with configurable alarms for over-discharge protection.
• Victron Cerbo GX — the system's communication hub, giving a single screen for monitoring every component, remote access and alerts through the VRM Portal, adjustable current limits and relay control, and the option to add temperature and tank-level sensors later.
• DC distribution and protection — a fused distribution block, correctly rated main fuse, and 70mm² tinned copper cable sized for the full inverter load.
• 230V protection — Type A 30mA RCBOs on both the incoming supply and the inverter output, matched to the MultiPlus-II's adjustable input current limit so it can never overload a campsite's power.

Optional: direct battery communication

Pair the board with an SOK lithium battery to connect the Cerbo GX directly to the battery's own management system. This gives live cell-level data, state-of-health monitoring, and safer, more accurate charging than voltage-based monitoring alone. Ask us about adding SOK batteries to your build.

Built and certified in New Zealand

Unlike an imported or DIY board, the Multi 12-3000-100 is assembled to order in our Sydenham workshop, tested against a build checklist, and signed off with a Certificate of Compliance and Electrical Safety Certificate specific to that unit.
