Coffee Gear Is Brutal on Power
Commercial coffee equipment is one of the most demanding loads you can put on a mobile power system. A two-group espresso machine alone can pull 3,500–5,000 watts when the boiler fires, and that's before you add grinders, fridges, water pumps, a POS and lights. A full-service coffee truck often needs 8–12kW of continuous capacity to keep up.
Try to run that off a small 12V setup and you'll hit the wall fast — huge currents, overheating cables, and a boiler that can't hold temperature when three coffees are firing at once. This is exactly the job 48V is built for.
Why 48V Handles It
At the same power, a 48V system carries about a quarter of the current of 12V. That means the punishing draws of commercial coffee gear become manageable, cabling stays sensible, and a big inverter can run flat-out without the system cooking itself.

battery, then run grinders, fridges, pumps and POS off the 48V system — a hybrid setup we design
around your exact equipment. Heating appliances (panini presses, kettles, hot plates) draw hard, so we
plan for them specifically.
