RV Reversing Cameras
Professional reversing camera installation for motorhomes and caravans — from a single rear camera to side-view and full 360° bird's-eye systems. See more, reverse with confidence, and protect your RV.
See What You're Missing
Reversing a motorhome or caravan is no small thing — their size, length and blind spots make manoeuvring tricky and, without good visibility, risky. A quality camera system removes those blind spots, cuts the chance of an accident, and takes the stress out of parking.
We install a full range of camera systems at our Christchurch workshop — from a simple single-camera setup to advanced 360° systems with multiple viewing modes — all fitted professionally with clean wiring and reliable connections, for owners across Canterbury and the South Island.
Why Install a Camera System?
The safety and convenience benefits:
Enhanced Safety
Wipe out dangerous blind spots and cut the risk of reversing accidents — spot obstacles, children, pets and other vehicles before they become hazards.
Complete Visibility
See what mirrors can't. Side cameras cover the blind spots along your RV; rear cameras give a clear view behind when reversing.
Easier Manoeuvring
Park with confidence in tight spaces — see exactly where you are in relation to obstacles when backing into sites and parking spots.
Damage Prevention
Protect your investment from costly reversing knocks — avoid the scrapes, dents and collisions that can ruin a trip and cost thousands.
Go It Alone
No need for someone to stand outside and guide you — see for yourself with a clear camera view, making solo travel easier and safer.
Day & Night
Quality cameras stay clear in all light. Night vision and low-light sensors keep you safe after dark or in poor weather.
Camera System Options
Three ways to get the visibility you need — we'll help you pick the right one for your RV:

Wireless RV Cameras
No cables to run through the RV — ideal for retrofits and where wiring would be difficult.

- Quicker, simpler install
- Digital wireless transmission
- Multiple camera support
- Great for caravans & trailers
- Flexible camera positioning
360° View Systems
Four cameras merge into a single bird's-eye view, so you see the whole vehicle and its surroundings from above.
- Full 360° surround view
- Aerial bird's-eye mode
- 3D view perspective
- Four cameras blended seamlessly
- Customisable viewing modes

Camera Questions, Answered
Wired or wireless — which is better?
Wired systems give the most reliable connection and the best picture, so they're ideal for permanent installs. Wireless is easier to fit — no cables to run — which makes it great for retrofits and caravans. We'll recommend the right one based on your RV and how it's used.
Do I really need a 360° system?
Not always. A single rear camera is plenty for many owners. A 360° system comes into its own on larger motorhomes and in tight, busy spots where seeing all four sides at once makes manoeuvring far easier. We'll talk through what's worth it for you.
Will the camera work at night?
Yes — quality cameras include night vision (infrared or low-light sensors) so you get a clear picture after dark and in poor weather, not just in daylight.
Can you fit cameras to both motorhomes and caravans?
Yes — we install camera systems on motorhomes, caravans and campervans. Caravans often suit wireless setups, while motorhomes can take wired or 360° systems; we'll match the system to your vehicle.
How long does installation take?
A single-camera install is usually done within a day. Multi-camera or 360° systems take a little longer — we'll confirm the timeframe once we've planned the install.
