How many watts of solar do I need on my caravan?
It depends on how long you stay off-grid, how much sun you typically get, and what you're running. As a rough guide, light users suit smaller systems while frequent off-grid travel benefits from more solar and adequate battery storage. The quickest way to size it is our solar calculator.
Can you install solar on a caravan with limited roof space?
Yes. Roof layout is a common challenge — vents, hatches and shading all reduce usable area. We design around what's available and recommend the best panel placement and controller setup for your caravan.
Will solar keep my fridge running?
In most cases, yes — provided the system is sized correctly and your batteries are in good condition. Fridges run 24/7, so battery capacity and battery health are just as important as panel size.
